Bit of a negative title but I see it as more of a recorded diary of how to do better for the next one:
So lol I brought a 3DS XL last week and spent all my wages on it. ヽ(#`Д´)ﾉ (might write more about the console in another post) and ofc with all the street pass features it can't just sit inside looking pretty, so a protective hard case was a must.
failing #1 - Case was too small: I should have added another 1cm to the main board to allow for sewing down the casing which actually holds the DS.
Failing no#2 - STOP USING FELT FOR EVERYTHING: The felt kept sliding around on the sewing machine which meant that some sides had too much excess felt and some not enough. (Just because you can make felt Megay does not mean that its a durable fabric for everything)
Failiing no #3: Wonky lines, although it got better with practice the ones that are wonky just make it look rather unpolished.
That aside though how cute is the color of the vinyl? best buy and under £4 for a square meter too. ^^
